Privacy

GTA6 LIFE sets no cookies and shows no consent banner. That is not a turn of phrase: the site is a set of static pages with no accounts, no member area and no ad network. It works without knowing who you are.

What we measure

Traffic is measured with Umami, which we host on our own servers. Umami counts page views, the referring page, the country, the device type and the browser. It sets no cookie, creates no advertising identifier, and does not keep your IP address in readable form.

None of it goes to a third party. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel and no retargeting tool on this site. That is also why there is nothing to accept when you arrive.

Emails you send us

When you write to [email protected] or [email protected], we receive your address and the content of your message. We keep them for as long as it takes to deal with the request. We then keep error reports that led to a correction, because they justify a visible change on the site.

Your address is never used for anything other than the reply. It is not sold, and it is not added to a mailing list.

The launch alert

On every article, a prompt offers two alerts: a preload reminder on November 12, 2026 and a launch alert on November 19, 2026. They use your browser’s notifications (Web Push), with no account, no email address and no cookie.

If you accept, your browser creates an anonymous subscription: a technical address specific to that device, plus two encryption keys. We keep it on our own server, hosted at Hetzner, for as long as it takes to send those two notifications. Nothing else is stored: not who you are, not what you read. No third party can see it, and the subscription is never used for anything but those two messages.

To stop receiving them, turn off notifications for gta6-life.com in your browser settings: the subscription ends at once. The whole list is deleted after November 19, 2026.

Outbound links

Our articles link out to sources: Rockstar Newswire, Bloomberg, IGN, YouTube and others. Once you follow a link, the policy of the site you land on applies, not ours.

Your rights

The EU General Data Protection Regulation gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection over data about you. Write to [email protected] and we answer within one month.

If our answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL, at 3 place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris, France, or through cnil.fr. Readers in the United Kingdom may also contact the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Commercial links

Since September 3, 2026, the « See on Amazon » buttons in the deals section, the comparators and the deals pieces are Amazon Associates links. Clicking one sets a cookie on Amazon’s site, not on ours: GTA6 LIFE sets none. The outbound click is counted by Umami, which records the product and the place on the site, and nothing that identifies a person. Awin and Impact links are planned once the retailer applications clear, and this page will be updated.
