Same-day press figures and closing prices don’t always match. Reuters reported a drop of about 8% during the May 2, 2025 session, while the close gave up 6.7%. On November 6, 2025, CNBC put the after-hours slide at around 7%; Bloomberg settled on the 8.1% close the next day, the stock’s worst session in more than a year.
Summer 2026: leaks, then the Extended Look
The August 2026 leaks hit the stock within days. BeInCrypto, carried by Yahoo Finance on August 21, counted about $2.83 billion of market value lost in under two days, with shares sliding from $248.13 to $232.84 intraday. Investing.com still valued Take-Two at $44.3 billion on August 28, the day after the Extended Look aired on Netflix.
Monday, August 31, 2026 took the stock back down to $219.70. TIKR tied that 6.7% fall, the worst in the S&P 500 that day, to a Forbes article speculating that GTA Online could arrive long after November 19. Benchmark analyst Mike Hickey pushed back on the premise, calling the one-to-two-year scenario “speculation rather than a reported delay.”
As of October 21, 2026, Yahoo Finance showed a 52-week high of $265.94 and a low of $187.63. Strauss Zelnick, Take-Two’s CEO, told shareholders on September 17, 2026 that the stock stood at $17 when his team arrived in March 2007. The October 21 close is roughly 12 times that.
What Take-Two expects from November 19
Take-Two’s fiscal year runs April to March. Fiscal 2027, ending March 31, 2027, includes the launch, and the company guides for $8.0 to $8.2 billion in Net Bookings, its main sales measure, up from $6.72 billion in fiscal 2026. On May 22, 2026, JPMorgan’s Cory Carpenter called that outlook “rather conservative.” Every GTA 6 sales estimate comes from analysts: Take-Two doesn’t break out figures by title.
The next date is Monday, November 9, 2026, after the market close, when Take-Two reports second-quarter results with a call at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time. A year earlier, the same report brought the delay to November 19, 2026. That November 19 date appears unchanged in both of Take-Two’s latest earnings releases, from May 21 and August 7, 2026.
