GTA 6 characters: who's who in Rockstar's eight profiles

Rockstar Games published eight character profiles on its GTA 6 site on May 6, 2025, the day trailer 2 went out. They name nine people, since Real Dimez is a duo, and spell out who knows whom.

GTA 6 has eight official character profiles, published on rockstargames.com/VI on May 6, 2025, the day trailer 2 went out. They name nine people, since Real Dimez is a duo, and two of them are playable: Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. The six other profiles each sit under a region of the state of Leonida, and no performer is credited anywhere.

Grand Theft Auto VI has eight official character profiles, all published on rockstargames.com/VI on May 6, 2025, the day trailer 2 went out. They name nine people, since Real Dimez is a duo, and two of them are playable, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. The six other profiles each sit under a region of the state of Leonida, and none credits a performer. That is everything Rockstar has written about its cast, 64 days before the November 19, 2026 release, in this order:

Character What the profile says Region
Jason Duval Army veteran, runner for drug dealers none given
Lucia Caminos Out of the Leonida Penitentiary, done with anything but smart moves none given
Cal Hampton Jason’s friend, Brian’s associate, snoops on Coast Guard comms Vice City
Boobie Ike Street reputation turned legitimate empire Leonida Keys
Dre’Quan Priest Dealer turned producer at Only Raw Records Grassrivers
Real Dimez Rap duo, Bae-Luxe and Roxy Port Gellhorn
Raul Bautista Seasoned bank robber, permanently recruiting Ambrosia
Brian Heder Runner from the golden age of smuggling Mount Kalaga

That last column is odd. Boobie Ike is written as “a local Vice City legend” yet filed under the Leonida Keys, and Cal Hampton, who never leaves the water’s edge, sits under Vice City.

Jason and Lucia, the only two playable characters

Both got full names on May 6, 2025 and not before: in trailer 1, on December 4, 2023, Lucia had only a first name. Jason Duval’s hook runs to one line, “Jason wants an easy life, but things just keep getting harder”. His profile has him growing up “around grifters and crooks”, before the Army and the Keys.

Lucia Caminos gets an opening about her father: “Lucia’s father taught her to fight as soon as she could walk.” Fighting for her family put her in prison, and “sheer luck got her out”. That entry holds the only geographic bridge Rockstar has written between GTA 6 and an older game: the good life Lucia wants is the one her mother has dreamed of “since their days in Liberty City”, the city of GTA IV. She is the first female protagonist in the main line of the series.

Rob Nelson, head of development at Rockstar North, told IGN on August 27, 2026 that the studio explored a GTA 6 with four playable characters before settling on a pair: “But we worried about diluting the amount of player time with each and therefore player connection with those characters”, then “So we decided to step in this direction of two characters in a relationship.” No third main character has turned up since.

The six other profiles, and who knows whom

Cal Hampton, “Jason’s friend and a fellow associate of Brian’s”, has the only profile that opens on a question: “What if everything on the internet was true?” Then one line: “Cal is at the low tide of America and happy there.”

Boobie Ike turned the streets into “a legitimate empire spanning real estate, a strip club, and a recording studio”. The accounting: “The club money pay for the studio, and the drug money pay for it all.” His Only Raw Records partner Dre’Quan Priest dealt on the street with music as the plan, “always more of a hustler than a gangster”.

Dre’Quan signed Real Dimez, Bae-Luxe and Roxy, friends since high school, whose profile alone dates a musical past: an early hit with the local rapper DWNPLY five years before the game opens, then “a whole lot of trouble”. The tagline: “One hit away from fame.”

Raul Bautista is “always on the hunt for talent ready to take the risks that bring the biggest rewards”, and his profile warns that his crew “will have to double down or pull their chips from the table”. Two of his lines run to two words: “Experience counts” and “A professional adapts.”

Brian Heder lets Jason live rent-free “so long as he helps with local shakedowns, and stops by for Lori’s sangria once in a while”. He still moves product through his boat yard with Lori, his third wife. One line: “Looks like a Leonida beach bum, moves like a great white shark.”

Four names from the Extended Look that no profile carries

Complex picked out two more names in the August 27, 2026 Extended Look: Raymond, who keeps a stash house, and Ernesto, the voice on the phone warning him that his friends on the task force are coming, seconds before the police raid.

SVG adds Mendez on August 28, a police officer whose unit it describes as shooting gang members on sight, and Petra Navarro, chief operating officer of a company called Megamundo, both on its list of antagonist candidates. None of the four appears on the official site.

No cast credit, no antagonist

The site credits nobody, nor does the Take-Two release of May 6, 2025, and the Extended Look of August 27, 2026, 26 minutes and 48 seconds, ends without a cast roll. IGN put the refusal in print on May 7, 2025: “Rockstar isn’t sharing its voice cast for GTA 6 just yet (we asked).” Vice, writing on August 28, 2026 about the split reaction to Jason’s performance, still called the performer officially unknown. The names traded around rest on editable IMDb entries, on ear-matching, and on a photograph of a T-shirt.

Rockstar has never used the word antagonist about a GTA 6 character, and no returning character has been announced. The profiles give no age, no date of birth and no height, and name neither Lucia’s father nor her mother.
