GTA 6 PS5 bundle: the GTA V precedent and Sony's five bundles

No bundle pairing a PS5 console with Grand Theft Auto VI has been announced by Sony Interactive Entertainment or by Rockstar Games as of November 3, 2026, ahead of the November 19 release. The only PlayStation hardware in the game’s colors is a pair of DualSense controllers shown on the PlayStation Blog on September 3, 2026, at $84.99, in a post that mentions no console.

That blog is where Sony announced all five of its console bundles, and it carried nothing further on November 3, 2026, the day it posted PlayStation Store’s Black Friday deals. PlayStation’s page for the game sells the Standard Edition at $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition at $99.99 and nothing else. Rockstar’s own collector’s box, The Goodtime State, Vice City Collection at $399.99 since September 24, holds no console and no copy of the game: “Grand Theft Auto VI game sold separately,” its store page reads.

Retailers build their own bundles

In the United Kingdom, EE Tech & Gaming sells a PlayStation 5 and a Standard Edition copy of the game together. Rosalie Newcombe read both offers for GamesRadar on June 25, 2026: £808 with the PS5 Pro and £588 with the disc PS5 Slim.

By Tabitha Baker’s August 24, 2026 reading for GamesRadar, the Pro and Slim bundles had climbed to £843 and £603, cutting the savings to £16.98 and £36.98. “EE was offering this PS5 Pro GTA 6 bundle for £808, but that’s jumped up the price scale this week,” she writes.

Mobile network O2 opened pre-orders on October 22, 2026 for two bundles of its own, shipping from November 12: a disc PS5 with the game at £155 upfront and £13.61 a month for 36 months, a Digital Edition at £145 and £12.53. Over the term, that is £644.96 and £596.08, against O2’s list prices of £644.99 and £595.99.

In the United States, Best Buy pays its discount later: a $50 certificate, still offered on October 20, 2026, to My Best Buy members who buy a PS5 or Xbox Series X|S with a GTA 6 pre-order, issued around November 25. A console and game bundle does not qualify.

Germany’s bundles cost more than their parts. Cyberport’s PS5 Pro with a game code, €999.99 on September 8, 2026, sat “rund 20 Euro über dem Einzelkauf” (about €20 above buying both separately), play3.de found, before GinjFo saw it withdrawn on September 14. On October 20, 2026, Netzwelt found three on pre-order at Otto: €1,599 with a PS5 Pro, €899 with a disc PS5 Slim, €999 with the original disc model and a second controller, delivered November 19. The Pro one is €619.02 above its parts.

Australia has two, both at Harvey Norman, each with a download code in the box and no disc. On October 30, 2026, the PS5 1TB with the game took pre-orders at AU$1,126 until November 18, and the PS5 Pro with the game, AU$1,526, was “temporarily out of stock.” GamesRadar’s Tabitha Baker calls that Pro pairing “somewhat unofficial”: it has no box of its own.

A GTA bundle predates this table: a 500GB PS3 with Grand Theft Auto V on Blu-ray, announced on June 11, 2013 and in stores on September 17, 2013, the game’s launch day. Until November 3, 2026, this page called the PS4 one the only GTA bundle. The PS4 bundle turned up on Black Friday, ten days after the PS4 release, in the United States and Canada only. Black Friday 2026 falls on November 27, eight days after GTA 6 reaches buyers; the same 14 days of notice would put an announcement on November 13.

Sony’s own calendar leaves room

From announcement post to shelf, Sony took 9 days for EA Sports FC 24, 14 for the GTA V bundle, 35 for Marvel’s Wolverine, 43 for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and 84 for Ghost of Yōtei. On that floor, an announcement on November 10, 2026 would still make November 19.

The missing disc does not stand in the way. The boxed copy of GTA 6 holds a download code and nothing else, as the Rockstar Store product page states, and that code binds the copy to the account that redeems it. Sony already ships codes: the Marvel’s Wolverine bundle contains “a game code for Marvel’s Wolverine”, the Ghost of Yōtei one “a digital copy”.

The August 11, 2026 post sells the Wolverine console “in limited quantities”. The 2014 GTA V bundle had no pre-order phase: PlayStation’s John Koller sent buyers to retail shelves on Black Friday, “while supplies last”.
