GTA 6 collectibles: only one collection is official so far
Collectible maps for GTA 6 are already online, 73 days before the November 19, 2026 launch. Rockstar Games names one collection, the Classic Car Collection, and the press invited to Rockstar North described two checklists.

Rockstar Games has published no collectibles list for GTA 6 as of September 7, 2026, 73 days before the November 19 launch. The only collection the publisher names is the Classic Car Collection, an Ultimate Edition item announced on June 24, 2026. Two other systems tick boxes, both described by the invited press in August 2026: a wildlife checklist, and fishing challenges that were never detailed.
Rockstar Games has published no collectibles list for Grand Theft Auto VI. That holds on September 7, 2026, 73 days before the November 19, 2026 launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S: the words collectible, hidden package and checklist appear nowhere on the Only in Leonida page, live since May 6, 2025 and read again that day. One thing in the publisher’s own copy carries the word collection.
That is the Classic Car Collection, announced on June 24, 2026 alongside the Ultimate Edition contents. Kotaku reproduced the official text word for word the same day: “Track down a variety of abandoned classic and work-in-progress project cars and revitalize them to their former glory in this special commission from eccentric collector and local fixer, Wyman.”
Anyone arriving here after a pickup hunt will not find one. Nothing sits scattered across the map waiting to be driven over: this is a restoration commission, locked behind a paid edition. Six official press images show Wyman’s salvage yard and its owner, his tank top printed “Wyman’s World Auto Salvage Co. Parts bought and sold.” Three badges are legible on the cars: Sirius, Riata and Deviant. A red number 36 race car and a pale green wire-wheeled roadster carry none. How many vehicles the collection holds, Rockstar has not said.

Two checklists, both described by the invited press
Wildlife is the first, and the only one spotted in the standard game. Vice put it in print on August 27, 2026, back from the Rockstar North visits: “Wildlife discovered in captivity or out in Leonida can be examined and recorded on a checklist, expanding upon a feature from Red Dead Redemption 2.” Cross an animal in the wild or see one in captivity, examine it, and it lands on a list. KeenGamer called it a compendium on August 28, the observation journal from Red Dead Redemption 2. The species shown so far are listed in our wildlife guide.

The second one is vaguer. Rob Nelson, co-studio head at Rockstar North, told YouTuber TGG in an interview reported by GameSpot on September 3, 2026 that fishing leans toward entertainment, with challenges and collectibles attached. He named none of them. No fish is kept either, since fishing is catch and release, a point our fishing guide covers.
Stolen loot is not a collection
Search traffic mixes the two, so it is worth separating them. The stolen goods Jason and Lucia carry do not fill a journal. They get sold. Rockstar Games wrote on June 24, 2026, in copy relayed by GamesRadar+, that a “local Fence” would “accept most stolen goods at a reasonably discounted rate,” and that hot items can go into a “Stash Box” at any Personal Garage or Safehouse. Those sentences left the product page on September 3, 2026, a check repeated on September 7. IGN added on August 27 that fences split at least between jewellery and cars, which our fences guide sets out in full.
One claim has been circulating since late August 2026 all the same: that collectible car parts can be handed to car fences for rewards. Searched again on September 7, 2026, no level 1 or level 2 source carries it.
Why no collectibles map holds up yet
Nelson gave IGN the line that best explains Rockstar’s silence here, on August 27, 2026:
“There is a whole other world in Red Dead Redemption 2. GTA 6 is very much like that. There’s a whole lot of stuff that you discover emergently that we’re not necessarily directing you to through objectives or blips or icons on a map as well. If you take a bit of time and explore you will be rewarded, a lot.”
No icons on the map, and no map published at all, means nobody can place an item anywhere. GTA 6 collectibles pages exist regardless, opened and read on September 7, 2026, and they say as much themselves: one states that “Rockstar hasn’t published a collectibles list yet,” another tags every one of its entries “Status: prediction.” They are bets, and their authors say so.
| What is known | What is not |
|---|---|
| The Classic Car Collection, Wyman’s commission, Ultimate Edition | How many cars, and what finishing it pays |
| A wildlife checklist, examine then record | How many species, and what filling it unlocks |
| Fishing challenges with collectibles attached | What they actually are, never described |
That leaves the question nobody can settle before November 19: 100 percent completion. Rockstar has published no criteria, no categories, no percentages, and has never used the phrase for GTA 6. Nelson offered the best available warning about the scale of the job in that same interview: “The game is so big, I don’t know that there’s anybody on the team that knows all of it.”
