GTA 6 weapons list: only three names come from Rockstar
Weapon lists for GTA 6 have been circulating since June 2026, most of them blending official material with leaked footage. Rockstar Games itself has named three models.
GTA6 LIFE
Rockstar Games has named exactly three GTA 6 weapons as of September 3, 2026, and all three sit in the Ultimate Edition line-up: the Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers, Jason's Girardi ES9 pistol and Lucia's Klose K17 pistol. There is no official catalogue and no published price. The 19 guns PC Gamer counted on June 26, 2026 are journalist identifications from the trailers, and no carry limit has ever been announced.

Every GTA 6 weapons list you can read today rests on three official names and a lot of screenshot work. Rockstar Games has named the Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers, Jason’s Girardi ES9 pistol and Lucia’s Klose K17 pistol, all three inside the Ultimate Edition line-up, and nothing else. Checked again on September 3, 2026: the Grand Theft Auto VI product page contains neither the word “weapon” nor the word “gun”, eleven weeks before the November 19, 2026 release.
The naming sits in the publisher-written Microsoft Store listing for the Ultimate Edition Upgrade:
“PERSONALIZED WEAPON VARIANTS: Personalized sidearms with detailed engravings for Jason’s Girardi ES9 pistol and Lucia’s Klose K17 pistol.”
The revolvers get the same treatment one line above, as “his and hers versions of this powerful revolver with classic stylings sourced from the Vercetti Estate”. On the press stills, GamesRadar reads the engravings themselves: “J. Duval” on one grip, “L. Caminos” on the other, and the Latin motto “Sua Sponte” running along Jason’s pistol.

The pre-order Vintage Vice City Pack adds one more weapon item, and GamesRadar describes it plainly: a Tommy Vercetti-style tint, the palm-leaf pattern off his shirt, applied to most of your guns. A skin, not an extra weapon.

Where the rest of the list comes from
PC Gamer went through both trailers and every official screenshot on June 26, 2026 and pulled out 19 guns. That number is a journalist’s count on official material, not a Rockstar figure, and the distinction decides what the rest of this page can say.
| Name spotted | Real-world basis | Where it appears |
|---|---|---|
| Morgan | Smith & Wesson 629 | Ultimate Edition, one per character |
| Girardi ES9 | Beretta 92FS | Jason’s sidearm |
| Klose K17 | Glock 17 | Lucia’s sidearm |
| Mustang .357 | Colt Python | screenshot of an Ambrosia biker |
| Capo | Colt M1911 | end of the first trailer |
| Duke carbine | M4 | screenshot of Jason aiming |
GTA 5 mostly labelled its guns by class, “pistol” or “carbine rifle”; GTA 6 gives them model names and manufacturers, and the carbine carries a Duke Arms Company logo above the magazine well, a brand carried over from Red Dead Redemption. Two more names arrived with the Extended Look of August 27, 2026, with no real-world basis established for either: GamesRadar watched Jason pick a Moreland 850 off a body during the stash house raid, then a Duke 556 off an attacker later, while Lucia pumped a shotgun one-handed. On the melee side the same guide logged a baseball bat, a hammer, a minigolf club, a pool cue and a switchblade knife, none with a manufacturer attached.
No carry limit has ever been announced
The most repeated claim about GTA 6 weapons began with a Dexerto article on June 25, 2026, the day after pre-orders opened, which noticed that one Ultimate Edition bonus included a garage with a “weapons locker” letting you “customize your loadout for any occasion”. Dexerto’s own verb was “suggests”. The two figures that later hardened into fact, two long guns and two sidearms, describe Red Dead Redemption 2 in that same article, where Arthur left the rest of his arsenal on his horse.
No level 1 source gives a carry limit, and none of the previews written by press invited to Rockstar North on August 27, 2026 puts a number on weapon slots. What is established is storage: IGN reports that vehicle trunks hold weapons and a change of clothes, which matters as much for a fight as for shaking a police description. And Rockstar has set one hard constraint in its own words, to Dazed on August 26, 2026: “Walk down the street with a rifle, and the city will have something to say about it.” Kotaku, quoting that line the same day, measured the distance from earlier GTA games, where bystanders ignored a drawn gun entirely.
Why the long fan lists are not usable here
GTA Base publishes a far longer inventory, and states its own method: these are weapons “confirmed to be in the game due to them appearing in the GTA VI official trailers, official screenshots, or leaked footage”. Its equipment section is blunter still, listing items “seen in the leaked GTA 6 footage from September 18, 2022”. A name sourced only from there is not a weapon in the shipping game, it is a frame from a stolen build four years old.
The second trailer does show a storefront called Phil’s Ammu-Nation, though no official source says the shop is enterable or what it stocks. Prices, attachments, damage and range are published nowhere, and weapon customization remains the one system Rockstar has left undescribed while showing what it does to cars.
