GTA 6 cars: the seven vehicles Rockstar has actually named

Rockstar Games has never published a vehicle list for GTA 6, with 78 days to go before the November 19, 2026 release. Seven models carry an official name, and every one of them turned up in edition contents.

GTA6 LIFE

Rockstar Games has never published a vehicle list or a vehicle count for GTA 6. Only seven models are named by the studio itself, all of them in the edition contents detailed on June 24, 2026: the '95 Grotti Cheetah, the '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy, the Shitzu Squalo, the Dinka Enduro motorcycle, the Crest Kayak, the Vapid Ganado pickup and the '55 Vapid Stanier. Everything else comes from frame-by-frame spotting, 78 days before the November 19, 2026 launch.

Every GTA 6 car list on the internet is a fan tally. Rockstar Games has never published one, and with 78 days left before the November 19, 2026 release, exactly seven vehicles carry a name the studio wrote itself. None of them come from a vehicles page. All seven surfaced on June 24, 2026, buried in the edition contents.

Vehicle What Rockstar says How you get it
’95 Grotti Cheetah “Grotti’s signature mid ’90s sports car”, with a livery “to punctuate later-stage action” Ultimate, unlocked late in the story
’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy “A Mud Club monster offering impressive off-road handling” Ultimate, Paradise Garage in Watson Bay
Shitzu Squalo “open-ocean-ready with an explosives-laden weapons crate” Ultimate
Dinka Enduro “Army fatigue-tinged” motorcycle Ultimate, Jason’s safehouse
Crest Kayak two-seat kayak Ultimate, Jason’s safehouse
Vapid Ganado Jason’s “well-worn” low-riding pickup, given exclusive mods Ultimate
’55 Vapid Stanier 1955 sedan supplied with its own garage pre-order bonus, Shore Court

An eighth entry names nothing. The Classic Car Collection is a commission from a collector called Wyman, who wants “project cars” tracked down and revitalized. How many, and which ones, Rockstar does not say. The full breakdown of those bonuses sits in the Ultimate Edition contents.

The badges legible on the press stills

The turquoise fastback in Wyman’s yard wears a Sirius. The cream off-road wagon wears a Riata, and the stars-and-stripes coupe a cursive Deviant behind the quarter window. All three read straight off the official stills released with the Ultimate Edition, which makes them evidence rather than guesswork.

Three more house marques show up the same way: Canis on the grille of the green 4x4 at One-Eyed Willie’s, Dinka on the olive tank of the safehouse dirt bike, Crest on the hull of the orange kayak. The Cheetah’s plate reads “Goodtime State” over an orange, which is Leonida’s own plate design. The Ganado’s hood scoop reads “434ci”.

What the press has pulled out of official images

The cover art published on June 19, 2026, broken down panel by panel in our cover art file, was taken apart by IGN, and four vehicles were identified in it: a Sea Sparrow, the amphibious helicopter from Vice City, here with a minigun on the skids; a Principe Alvino V1 motorcycle, seen in green on a May 2025 screenshot and repainted pink and purple here; a Vapid Police Cruiser with restyled front lights compared to GTA 5; and a Clarion speedboat, a marque new to the series. A yellow scissor-door supercar fills the bottom-left panel, most likely a Pegassi, though nobody has confirmed it.

The Extended Look of August 27, 2026 widened the picture without adding house names. KeenGamer logged sports cars, a van, police cruisers, helicopters, dirt bikes, jet skis, fanboats, fishing boats, electric scooters, a private plane and stock cars. Jalopnik went further on August 28 and named two: the red convertible is a Sentinel, and the black sedan Lucia drives through the chase is a Schafter. What you can actually do behind a wheel is gathered in the guide to activities outside missions.

Where the 200-plus figure comes from

Headlines claiming 200 or more confirmed vehicles never quote Rockstar, because Rockstar has given no total. GTA Base, a fan-run database, listed 272 as of September 2, 2026, compiled from the trailers, the official screenshots and the Extended Look. Its own page warns that “there will likely be many more vehicles in the game that are yet to be seen or discovered.” That is a community count of on-screen appearances, not a publisher figure.

Owning a car, and the numbers still missing

Rob Nelson, co-studio head at Rockstar North, told IGN on August 27, 2026 that theft is tiered: a slim jim opens older cars, a key cloner handles newer ones, and some parked vehicles stay out of reach early on because the tools are not unlocked yet. A phone app called WAINK scans a car and reports whether it is locked, alarmed or tracked, what a fence would pay for it, and what registration would cost. The system is broken down in our piece on how car theft works.

Keeping a stolen car means registering it, and registration costs money. Jason and Lucia can each own several, capped by garage space.

The gaps are easy to list. No speed or handling stats, no purchase prices, no dealerships, no spawn locations, and no word on which of the series’ long-running marques return. The blue and silver train crossing the frame at 0:45 in the May 6, 2025 trailer has never been called drivable, and no public transport has either.
