GTA 6 gets a $399.99 collector's box from Rockstar Games
On September 24, 2026, 56 days before GTA 6 launches, Rockstar Games opened pre-orders for a collector's box built on the Red Dead Redemption 2 model. The Goodtime State, Vice City Collection costs $399.99 and packs 11 items themed on Macca the Gator, an in-game TV mascot.
: Added the 23 countries the box ships to, how to cancel a pre-order through Xsolla, and when the card is charged.

Rockstar Games opened pre-orders for The Goodtime State, Vice City Collection through its Newswire on September 24, 2026. The box costs $399.99, holds 11 items themed on Macca the Gator, is limited to one per customer and ships from November 19, 2026 to 23 countries in North America and Europe. The game is sold separately, and the Rockstar Store listing rules the box out of free shipping.
Rockstar Games opened pre-orders on September 24, 2026 for Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State, Vice City Collection, a $399.99 box of merchandise announced in a Newswire post. The game itself is not included. “Grand Theft Auto VI game sold separately,” reads the Rockstar Store listing. The box is capped at one per customer and ships from November 19, 2026, launch day, according to Gamekult.
The Newswire headline, “Pre-Order The Goodtime State, Vice City Collection Now While Supplies Last,” ties the sale to available stock. The store calls it “a premium Collector’s Box featuring all the essentials for a good time, inspired by Leonida’s hit TV show, Macca the Gator.” Macca is the alligator mascot of a fictional TV show inside the game.
RockstarINTEL puts the price at £349.99 in the UK and CA$559.99 in Canada, and says pre-orders are live in North America and Europe, with Asia, Latin America and Australia to follow at a later date. Read again on October 5, 2026, the listing’s FAQ names the 23 countries the box ships to: the United States, Canada, the UK and 20 in Europe, three more than the game’s own boxed copy (Latvia, Liechtenstein and Lithuania). Australia is not among them, and “additional duties and taxes may be imposed by local authorities outside the US and UK.”
What the Rockstar Store listing adds
Read on September 26, the listing names all 11 items and sharpens two of them: the Leonida Keys enamel pin set holds nine pins in a metal tin, and the stash bag holds nine vinyl stickers. The figure shows Macca “enjoying a smoke and a flamingo blood martini,” on a twist-open base built to stash valuables. The double-sided poster carries “a full view of the Leonida map” on the back.
The box measures 19 x 13.5 x 12.5 inches. Gamekult printed 48.26 x 33.02 x 30.48 cm, which works out to 19 x 13 x 12 inches, half an inch short on two sides.
At the bottom of the listing, the box is marked “Ages 18+” and “Fragile,” and “This item is not eligible for free shipping,” so shipping comes on top of the $399.99.
On October 5, the box was still up for pre-order at $399.99, for buyers logged in to the Rockstar Store. Cancelling goes through Xsolla, Rockstar’s fulfillment partner, with a form that asks for the order number and the purchase email. Xsolla’s pre-order policy says a payment account “will not be charged until the physical pre-order is ready to be shipped,” which puts the charge no earlier than November 19.
Four times the price of the Red Dead Redemption 2 box
On June 4, 2018, Rockstar announced the Red Dead Redemption 2 Collector’s Box at $99.99, also without the game (“Red Dead Redemption 2 sold separately”). The GTA 6 box costs four times as much and lands 56 days before launch, against 144 days for the 2018 set. The item-by-item breakdown and the comparison with the GTA V Collector’s Edition are on our collector’s box page.
GTA 6 itself still comes in two editions, Standard at $79.99 and Ultimate at $99.99, announced by Take-Two on June 24, 2026. Box plus Standard Edition comes to $479.98 before shipping.
