GTA 6 Ambrosia explained: the sugar refinery and the bikers

Ambrosia is one of the six destinations of the state of Leonida that Rockstar Games has named and described, on the “Only in Leonida” page put online on May 6, 2025, the day the second trailer landed. Its official heading is “Keeping Leonida Sweet”. Grand Theft Auto VI arrives November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Everything the studio has published about the region fits into four sentences.

The battle for the health and wealth of Leonida begins here. In the heart of Leonida, American industry and old school values still reign supreme, whatever the cost. The Allied Crystal sugar refinery provides the jobs, while the local biker gang provides almost everything else.

Allied Crystal is the only employer any official sentence gives the region, and the biker gang is never named in that text. Dexerto, in a May 13, 2026 page on real-world inspirations, compares the refinery to the U.S. Sugar plant in Clewiston, Florida, a match it files among its less certain ones.

One named character belongs to the region. On the same Only in Leonida page, Rockstar ties Raul Bautista to Ambrosia: “a seasoned bank robber always on the hunt for talent ready to take the risks that bring the biggest rewards.”

The 70 screenshots Rockstar released the same day carry the rest of the local color. A pack of riders in winged-skull club vests works its way up a two-lane road past the sign for the Ambrosia county sheriff’s office. A “Visit Leonida” postcard puts the refinery at dusk, stacks smoking, next to a storage tank painted in the stars and stripes. Further out, crop fires run through the fields.

The club’s name comes from outside Rockstar. PC Gamer calls it the Final Chapter in its Leonida map guide, last updated August 18, 2026, and the studio has never printed those two words, on Only in Leonida or anywhere since. What the official set does carry is rank: in another of the May 6, 2025 shots, a bearded member wears a vest patched “ENFORCER”, a woman in a red bandana holding a revolver against his chest. Dexerto, covering the same region on May 13, 2026, gives the gang no name at all. IGN France, summing up Game Informer’s coverage on September 29, 2026, writes that the club controls the area and seems different from the Lost MC of GTA 4 and GTA 5, a comparison that is IGN’s own.

On August 28, 2026, Vice listed Ambrosia among the places seen outside Vice City in An Extended Look, shown the day before, alongside the Leonida Keys, Port Gellhorn, Mount Kalaga and Grassrivers. No timestamped sequence has been tied to the region by name.

Ambrosia County is on a road sign, not in a press release

Rockstar never uses the word “county” in its official material, where the six places are presented as destinations. The five names in circulation, Vice-Dale, Leonard, Ambrosia, Kelly and Mariana, were read off road signs, police vehicles and sheriff badges, as GTA Intel set out on June 6, 2026.

Three things about the region are therefore still missing: its size, how many towns it holds, and where exactly it sits on a map Rockstar has still not published: not on May 6, 2025, not with the Extended Look of August 27, 2026, not since.
