GTA 6 TV buying guide: six sets from $347.99 to $1,499.99

A television bought for Grand Theft Auto VI is judged on game mode input lag, contrast and HDR, never on refresh rate. Rob Nelson, co-director of Rockstar North, told Brazilian creator Davy Jones that console builds run at 30 frames per second, remarks carried by Kotaku on August 27, 2026, which Digital Foundry counted as 33.3 ms per frame on June 29, 2026. The six sets below are the ones Amazon sold itself on September 14, 2026, in the United States and in France, and each button opens the listing for your country.

The LG C5, G5 and B5 and the Samsung S90F and S95F from 2025 leave this page. On September 13, 2026, none of their six listings was sold by Amazon itself: a reseller held the offer, or the page showed no buy box at all, on either side of the Atlantic. A price held by a third party moves with that third party, and the 2026 line is the only one Amazon stocks in its own name on both stores.

The Samsung M70H opens the selection at $347.99 in 55 inches and $427.99 in 65 inches, and it sat among Amazon’s best-selling televisions on September 13, 2026. Its mini LED backlight delivers HDR far brighter than a plain LCD at this price, and Samsung’s own page caps its HDMI inputs at 4K 60 Hz, plenty for a game that will draw 30. The QN70H, at $797.99 and $997.99, adds Quantum Mini LED dimming and the NQ4 AI processor: the mini LED of this page for a large living room, just under $1,000.

OLED starts at $1,397.99 with the 65-inch Samsung S85H, Samsung’s entry OLED of the 2026 line, with HDMI 2.1 inputs and a low-lag game mode; Amazon.com listed 20 units left on September 14, 2026. The 55-inch Sony BRAVIA 6 at $1,499.99 runs Google TV and Sony’s own video processing, from the maker that tunes its BRAVIA sets for the PS5. So the cheaper OLED is the bigger one here, and on Vice City at night the black of an OLED panel shows far more than the badge on the bezel.

One line on the spec sheet has nothing to do on November 19, 2026: the refresh rate. A 120 or 144 Hz panel only earns its number on PC, because console output stops at 120 Hz, as Les Numériques wrote in its LG G6 review on April 9, 2026. VRR does not rescue 30fps either: its window opens at 48 Hz on PS5 per the KTC guide of May 1, 2026, and 30 frames per second sit under that floor.

The largest gain here costs nothing. Game mode drops input lag from 80 to 120 ms down to 1 to 5 ms per LeBonEcran, far more than the spread between these six sets. Then the port: Frandroid wrote on June 19, 2026 that LG and Samsung run full bandwidth on all four HDMI inputs, while LeBonEcran limits the 48 Gbps inputs on an LG set to HDMI 1 and 2. Plugging into HDMI 1 settles it for nothing.
