GTA 6 radio stations: 6 official, 20 songs credited by Rockstar

Rockstar Games revealed six radio stations on the Grand Theft Auto VI music page on October 8, 2026, with 18 songs credited in their previews. Before that, the studio had credited two songs, one per trailer. The December 4, 2023 description carries “Song: Love Is A Long Road / Artist: Tom Petty” and “Courtesy of Universal Music Enterprises”; the May 6, 2025 one credits “Hot Together”, a 1986 Pointer Sisters single, “Written by Sharon Robinson”. The 15 tracks logged in the August 27, 2026 Extended Look come from the press.

Three more tracks play uncredited in trailer 2, identified by NME on May 6, 2025: “Everybody Have Fun Tonight” by Wang Chung, “Child Support” by Zenglen and 5 Etwal, and “Talkin’ To Myself Again” by Tammy Wynette.

The song logs from the Extended Look do not agree

The tracks heard in the August 27, 2026 demo are listed in every song in the Extended Look. Khel Now, TechnoSports and InMusic count 14; VICE published 13 on August 28, leaving out “Inner Light” by Elderbrook and Bob Moses. GameSpot counts 15 on September 15, 2026, adding “GTA 6 Theme Song” by DRÆVEN. None of the tracks is tied to a station named on screen.

VGC counts eight artists, Journal du Geek counts ten

Travis Scott, Keith Richards, Morgan Wallen, Rauw Alejandro, Future, PinkPantheress, Fred Again and Argentinian duo Ca7riel and Paco Amoroso posted GTA 6 artwork to Instagram, according to Chris Scullion’s September 16, 2026 list for VGC. Journal du Geek adds Metro Boomin and Yung Lean, ten names for six illustrations. UK chart body Official Charts ran the ten names on September 17 and holds both ends: its headline bills artists “who have confirmed their inclusion on GTA VI”, its text calls their pictures “supposed GTA VI artwork”.

TechJuice ran the headline “Rockstar Confirms GTA 6 Soundtrack Artists”, and French outlet jeuxvideo.com writes that “Rockstar a orchestré une campagne virale inédite” (Rockstar orchestrated an unprecedented viral campaign). Journal du Geek says the artists shared the illustrations themselves, and Rockstar Games published nothing on the campaign. Scullion sets the limit: “It’s not yet clear whether these images are confirmations that the artists involved simply have music tracks in the game, or whether they have a larger role such as a radio DJ or even appearing in the game itself.” On October 8, Rolling Stone named Morgan Wallen a Back Country Radio host.

Rauw Alejandro’s caption named “MACACOA 2000”, which VGC read as a possible station name; Travis Scott’s ended on “J. O. H. to be continued”, which Journal du Geek takes for the Jack of Hearts strip club in Rockstar’s official artwork. On September 17, Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album made “Macacoa 2000” a Rauw Alejandro song rather than a frequency, one of 34 tracks Rockstar Games bills as original music, apart from the licensed songs of the radio.

Spotify put the same illustrations on billboards carrying its logo in Los Angeles, New York and Miami, logged by IGN France and Frandroid on September 17, 2026. TechRadar, on September 18, got no answer: “Spotify has yet to tell us what it and Rockstar have in store”. On September 21, jeuxvideo.com called the operation a marketing push built around the soundtrack.

Vice City shipped nine stations, GTA 6 has shown six

On October 8, Rockstar promised “the biggest and widest-ranging selection of in-game radio and podcasts yet”. VICE reported on August 27 that the game holds “the largest collection of radio and television commercials in the franchise’s history”.

The station names logged in stolen video

Since August 18, 2026, footage from an unfinished build has leaked one video a day. Kotaku logged 14 station names on August 24: Kaleidoscope FM, Worldwide FM, Cocoteo FM, Emotion 98.3, Radio ON-U, Symphony FM, V-Rock, Back Country Radio, Stockyard FM, Dirty South Classics, Circo Loco Records Radio, The Wipe, La Ola and The Chamber 106.6. Gulf News, a day earlier, listed two more: Honey FM and an entry tagged DNU. Cocoteo FM, Back Country Radio, Dirty South Classics and The Chamber 106.6 have been official since October 8.

Kotaku’s Zack Zwiezen sets the limit himself: “keep in mind that it’s possible some of these songs don’t make the cut by the time the game launches”. Sorting real from fake is covered in the guide to spotting a fake leak.

CircoLoco Records is a label Rockstar Games founded in 2021 with the clubbing collective CircoLoco. Raw Records is thinner: a logo on a studio wall in one of Rockstar’s press images, which WikiGTAVI files in its rumor tier next to a Drake station. No Rockstar document ties either to a GTA 6 frequency.

V-Rock and Vice City FM turn up outside the leaks

Jason Duval wears a V-Rock shirt in Rockstar Games’ official promotional images, and an advert for Vice City FM is pasted on a bus shelter in the Extended Look. Xboxygen logged the pair on September 20, 2026, and the GTA Wiki files both under official material. Vice City FM was on neither Kotaku’s nor Gulf News’ list, taking the count to 17.

Vice City FM first ran in Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony, released October 29, 2009 on Xbox 360, under the tagline “Non-stop 80’s”.
