GTA 6 racing: circuit, dirt and street races shown so far

The 26 minutes and 48 seconds of gameplay released on August 27, 2026 hold three kinds of race. Rockstar Games has published no race format, no track name and no performance figure at all.

The GTA 6 Extended Look, released on August 27, 2026, shows three kinds of race: an event on a closed asphalt circuit, motocross racing and night street racing. Vice and GTA BOOM both logged them among the free-roam activities on August 27, 2026. Rockstar Games has published no track name, no race format and no performance data.

Grand Theft Auto VI shows three kinds of race across the 26 minutes and 48 seconds of the Extended Look released on August 27, 2026: an event on a closed asphalt circuit, motocross racing, and street racing at night.

Red Bull, in a breakdown published on September 1, 2026, calls the asphalt track a first for the series and picks out the racing-game readouts on screen: a minimap, a lap counter, lap times and a position indicator. Rockstar Games has published nothing at all about that circuit.

The track name doing the rounds, by contrast, dates back to the footage published without authorization in 2022. Red Bull repeats it on September 1, 2026, and Rockstar has never written it anywhere on its own site, not on the product page and not on the editions page. The same breakdown leans on a map of Leonida attributed to that leak to place other layouts, which Rockstar has said nothing about either.

The other two disciplines come out of the same activity montage. Vice logged an off-road race and dirt-bike riding there on August 27, 2026, and GTA BOOM files “street and circuit racing” among the twenty free-roam activity categories it counted the same day. Red Bull credits street races with a nitro boost, a feature Rockstar has never mentioned.

One sentence from Rockstar on driving

The team responsible for vehicle handling is made up of racing drivers. Rockstar said so to Dazed on August 26, 2026, without spelling out what those drivers did, and has not returned to it since. On performance, the official product page carries no top speed, no acceleration and no vehicle list, a gap checked again on September 4, 2026 that makes any speed ranking impossible before release.

How many events there are, what they pay, which vehicle classes they allow and how a player starts one are all unknown. So is the multiplayer half: GTA Online is not shipping with the game, and nothing says whether these events will wait for a human opponent later. With 75 days left to November 19, 2026, the only list of races anyone can consult is still the one the press pulled out of the activity montage.
