GTA 6 wallpapers: Rockstar's 23 official downloads, in 4K

Rockstar Games hosts a download page for GTA 6 artwork on the game's official site, sized for desktops and phones alike. Checked on September 27, 2026, it holds 23 official images split into 124 files.

The Artwork & Wallpapers page on GTA 6's official site offers 23 Rockstar Games images, checked on September 27, 2026: Jason and Lucia, the cover art, six side characters and six location postcards. Each downloads on its own in three to seven sizes (up to 3840 x 2160 landscape and 2160 x 4800 for phones), or all together in a 226 MB zip.

Rockstar Games offers 23 official Grand Theft Auto VI images on the Artwork & Wallpapers page of the game’s site, checked on September 27, 2026. Each one downloads separately in three to seven sizes. The Download All button grabs everything at once: a 226 MB archive, GTAVI_Artwork_Wallpapers.zip, last modified on September 16, 2026.

Rockstar first pointed fans there on June 18, 2026. The video revealing the official cover art described it as “also available as downloadable artwork at rockstargames.com/VI.”

What’s in the pack

Eleven images center on Jason and Lucia and the covers: the box art, the album cover, and the Robbery, Beach, Motel, 01 and 02 scenes. Four of those eleven are “With Logo” versions of scenes already in the set, with the game’s title stamped on.

Six show the supporting cast Rockstar has introduced: Cal Hampton, Boobie Ike, Dre’Quan Priest, Real Dimez, Raul Bautista and Brian Heder.

The last six are the “Visit Leonida” postcards, one per region: Vice City, Leonida Keys, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia, Grassrivers and Mount Kalaga National Park, the same places covered in our map regions guide.

Which size fits your screen

Rockstar labels every format on the page. Dimensions as checked on September 27, 2026, in pixels:

Rockstar format Size Best for Images
Landscape 3840 x 2160 desktop, 4K TV (16:9) 23
Ultrawide 5120 x 2160 ultrawide monitor (21:9) 18
Tablet 3840 x 3840 tablet 18
Phone 2160 x 4800 phone (20:9) 18
Portrait 2160 x 3840, or 1080 x 1920 for 5 images vertical screen 23
Square 2160 x 2160 square crop 23

That adds up to 124 files. The four “With Logo” versions and the album cover only come in Landscape, Portrait and Square, so for a phone wallpaper pick the logo-free version: it is the one with a Phone size. Jason and Lucia 02 even has two phone files, labeled A and B.

The cover art, Robbery and Beach only get a 1080 x 1920 Portrait. On a recent phone, their 2160 x 4800 Phone file has twice the horizontal resolution.

On PS5

The PS5 Welcome hub takes a new background through “Change Background.” Sony’s support page, read on September 27, 2026, says you can “choose from images in the From PlayStation, Games, or Media Gallery tabs,” and adds a Slideshow mode that rotates through an album. It describes no way to import an image from a USB drive, so a file downloaded on a computer has no documented route onto the console.

The 23 names and sizes above also work as a reference. A so-called official wallpaper found elsewhere that matches no file on Rockstar’s page did not come from Rockstar. In-game screenshots live on a separate official page, covered in our story on the 99-image gallery.
